Meet Parker!
Parker is a sweet gentle boy. Probably just about a year old. He loves standing next to you with his paws on your torso and staring into your eyes while you speak sweetly to him. He will sit politely while waiting for a snack. He’ll also stand on his hind legs to go “up” for one. He’d probably do really well as a frisbee chaser and catcher, though I haven’t tried. He is quick and agile. He’ll take alpha dominance over a food bowl in the right dynamic, or he’ll take the passive role to one more dominant. He isn’t one to argue or fight. He’ll come when you call him, usually, and love you forever. He just wants to sit on the couscous with you and be your best friend. Does well with other dogs, but would do well as a persons one best friend as well. |

Get ready to meet the friendliest dog on the planet!!! His name is Perry and he is a seven month old, tail-wagging, snuggle-bunny who will bring great joy to your life. This little love bug with the Paul Newman baby-blues arrived as a tiny puppy at Love Those Dog Paws after he wandered onto a construction site, tail gently wagging, and befriended an animal-loving couple who live and work there - but were unable to keep him because of onsite rules.
Perry, who is deaf, is with an adoring foster family, where he will stay until he finds his perfect home. Perry recently spent an intensive two weeks with a super talented animal trainer, learning simple sign language and obedience. He’s one of the smartest, most loving dogs we have ever met. He is trained, spayed, and with all of his shots, Perry is now ready to go and begin a new life with his forever family. This is one amazing pooch who loves everybody and leaves smiles on the faces of everybody who meets him.

This is Bella, she is 5 years old, mixed breed. She is fixed, up to date vaccines. She just had her last vaccines couple months ago. She is also microchipped. She is very friendly, sweet. loves kids. Good with other dogs. Never aggressive. Kennel trained, potty trained but you need to listen to her when she has to go. Lil animals might be a problem though, like chickens, birds, cats.

I am an 11 week old, male, peach brindle, mixed pup on the East side, approx 15 lbs. I come from an orphaned litter of 10, I have been bottle fed since birth. I’m a special puppy, I’m extremely loving and mellow, and very intelligent. I’ve been growing up with lots of other dogs and cats of all ages, so I’ll be the perfect family companion. I am working on my potty training and I sleep through the night in my crate. I’m looking for a family who will treat me as a true member of their Ohana, not as a hunting dog or security guard. I have been neutered, chipped, vaccinated, wormed, and given flea and tick meds.

Shylah is a 6mo old small dog. We think she's dachshund and minpin mix.
We call her Shylah because she is pretty shy. She is a special needs case where we need a foster to adopt while she gets her medical and vaccinations done. She's special needs due to her umbilical hernia. The hernia isn't life threatening and can be fixed. We are going to get it fixed when she gets spayed. So, we want to find her a home where she'll be forever loved and can help with getting her to her appointments. Then, you can adopt her when she's all done. |

Meet Maze. He's 50lbs, 1 year old and he is a gentle and sweet boy he loves going to the beach or just relaxing by your side he would love to be your best friend. He gets along great with other dogs. He's cohabitated with many of our fosters and loves loves loves play and running. If you want a wigglebutt when you walk through the door, Maze delivers. Always down for a car ride or adventure, he will go do his zoomies and then come to check in with you. He's not so great with the tiny humans or chickens. Mostly because they sometimes move faster than he does. If you have another dog that's looking for a play companion and you are an adventurer yourself, he's your man! He's learning sit and down now and nearly has it.

This little mama, Honey, was rescued with her puppies from a puppy mill/neglect situation in OV at the end of October.
They were all starved, terrified, full of worms and covered in bacterial sores. We’ve been patiently working our magic, and Honey is now healthy, happy, and so much more trusting. Approximately 1 year old and 45 lbs, possible Rat Terrier mix. Rarely barks, shows zero signs of aggression, and has no separation anxiety. She comes when called and takes treats and food soft and politely. She loves to be with people, go for rides, and explore. Her personality has come out and she’s discovered what toys are, she runs in big circles and tosses them in the air. Honey deserves a permanent, stable, loving family forever. She’s been acclimated to our other rescues, both dogs and cats, and gets along perfectly with them all. Honey has been spayed, chipped, wormed, and given first vaccines and flea/tick treatment.

Meet Zeus!

We’ve been patiently working our magic, and Zeus is now healthy, happy, and trusting people. Approximately 3 months old and 15 lbs, possible Rat Terrier/Australian Shepherd mix. He’s a little adventurer, always wanting to explore and plays with his sister nonstop, shows zero signs of aggression, and has no separation anxiety. He loves to be held and rarely barks. He has been living around our other rescue dogs and cats, and gets along perfectly with them all. Zeus deserves a permanent, stable, loving family forever. He has been neutered, chipped, wormed, and given 1st vaccines and flea/tick treatment. |

Peanut is a sweet, smart, curious, and energetic pup! At 5 months old, she’s still got a lot of growing and learning to do. Her favorite pastimes are tug of war with our older/bigger dogs, providing all the snuggles and kisses you could want (and then some), and napping in hilarious flexible positions while her foster humans are at work/school. Peanut is potty trained and knows a few commands, and she’s eager to learn more (including leash manners). She’s great with dogs and humans (though a little food-territorial at times). She would prefer to chase our cat but can be redirected and isn’t aggressive toward him. She’s an indoor little princess who loves to relax outside and soak up the sun but spends most of her time chilling on the couch or the tile floor. LIKES: snagging dirty socks from kids’ floors and exchanging them for treats, snacking on ice cubes, playing with other dogs, and getting ear scratches and chest to chest snuggles. She’s an absolutely wonderful pup and if we had space we’d 💯 adopt her ourselves. She’s been an amazing foster pup and brought so much love and life into our home. She deserves an active multi-dog forever home where she can be the little protective princess she’s meant to be.

Cooper is a dog with high energy. He's 5 year old Vizla. He needs a best friend that is active and wants to go on adventures with him. He loves to be with people. He can jump high and run fast. He does like a good chase so a farm isn't his best life. He will also chase cats. He does get along with other dogs, though. Because of his high energy, a home with small children is not the best for him either. He may make a great agility dog with some training since he's super energetic and super smart.

He's a friendly 8 year old mixed lab breed who gets along well with other dogs and kids. He's been a family dog and due to medical reasons, they can no longer keep him or his brother Lai Wang (below). |

This Is Chocolate. She is 8 years old and is chipped, spade, and vaccinated. She has has a hard time getting along with other dogs but adapts over time. She doesn't like cats. She would do best if she was in a single dog home. She is a very loyal companion and is looking for her furever home.

This little sweet muffin is Sister. She's about 15lbs and just about a year old. She was rescued by a sweet family on the Hilo side with her 2 brothers and they are all looking for their forever homes. Sister has a gentle disposition and makes friends easily. Sweet thing got attacked by fire ants so her eyes are cloudy but that doesn't stop her from giving all the love in the world. She's gentle and lovely, just like the perfect little companion. We don't get little dogs very often. She's ready for applications!

ADOPTED! Meet Luna she's friendly with other dogs, cats, and children. The vet guesstimate she is around 5 years old. Evidence suggests she has been a mother before. She loves being able to have a nice comfy bed to relax in. She is a very sweet kind gem waiting for her furever home

ADOPTED! This is Haka. He's such a good boy. He's about 4 years old. We think he's part Heeler and Beagle. We haven't heard him bark yet so maybe the beagle is on DND mode! He's a medium sized dog. He walks well on a leash and has great recall. He comes with the upgraded package of already being house trained and does great in the car. If you're looking for a best friend that's past the puppy chewing and ready for binging Netflix with a bowl of popcorn, he's your dude.
